2018. . Each print expresses a general uncomfortability that comes from balancing anxiety and sanity. Black and White have been applied into an explosive collision of tonal variation that tricks the eye with abstraction into perceiving selfinterpreted imagery rather than suggestive imagery. Each Monotype Print is an abstraction of tonal variation, applied and reduced unto a polypropelyne plastic plate before being pressed. The end result is dried as the monoprint to its own series, and forms a storyboard of asymmetrical imagery that is suggestive to figures of uncomfortability, as a feeling shared by the state of anxiety. Completed on the same day, 30th August 2018.
